Here's some shots of the latest space I have been working on. CoffeeHIT is the newest kid on the Melbourne coffee block. The focus is on making great coffee, using organic ingredients on the menu - just all good quality stuff - keeping it simple and bringing it to the 'burbs in Hawthorn.
CoffeeHIT, 81-83 Church St, Hawthorn opens Monday February 1. Styling and images Claire Larritt-Evans.
The Red Store is a stylists dream. Located in Newstead in country Victoria - the store is the kind of place where the prices are low and the choices endless. The store is amazing in itself, housed in the town's original 1800s General Store and painted in it's original Red livery - all the items are displayed on the original baltic pine shelving and counters.
Also of note are the gorgeous business cards that are printed copies of an original 1800's receipt.
I am thrilled to have commissioned the uber talented Melbourne artist Emily Harris to make a timber piece for my current cafe project. Emily sees the beauty in discarded timber pieces and composes stunning patchwork artworks. Here is a sneak peek of her work.
Got delivery of the Mark Tuckey table and Fenton&Fenton chairs today - I'm so happy with the result especially against the exposed bricks. More to come in the next week or two.
Had a v busy day with shooting some more of Market Lane this morning - I'll be posting shots as soon as I have them back from Tony.
Ohhh lordy - I have these chairs arriving tomorrow from Fenton&Fenton. I'll be setting up the furniture in the new cafe I am designing. Big day. Almost there.
