Working with Armelle...

It's always a pleasure working with the lovely and talented photographer Armelle Habib. We've shot many projects together including Jacqueline Evans, Market Lane. Here's one of my favs from our early days shooting together.

Thrilled

I took a brief yesterday to work on a real Melbourne landmark hospo spot. I'm just a little bit honoured & thrilled. Stage 1 is restoring 80 of these beauties.

Behind the scenes at La Madre

Here's a behind the scenes look at today's shoot for La Madre Bakery. I had a lovely day shooting with Anna and photographer Cricket - we got some dangerously delicious shots.

Altered Perspectives inspired by today's finds.

Coming back from Mt Hotham I stopped off in Bright at The Old Tobacco Factory and came across the most wonderful display of crockery, wall to wall, floor to ceiling of the most gorgeous (and affordable) crockery. I left empty handed but walked away asking myself what I would do with a large supply of crockery?
Wall to wall crockery from today's sourcing trip.
Then tonight I came across quite coincidently the work of Bruce Wayland and Marcello De Simone of Little Owl. With backgrounds in Art History, Fine Arts and Menswear Design the pair paint beautiful scenes onto crockery sets creating 'altered perspectives'. Beautiful.

I'll be back soon guys - just taking a short break with the family in Mt Hotham. I'll be home on Monday - apologies for the lack of posts. x
This is where I spent my day today - at White Spa Hotham - BLISS.
