Behind the scenes

My next few posts will be a series of behind the scenes from shoots accompanied by beautiful final images. There are so many things that need to come together to create a great image: props, lighting, styling, photography, composition, patience and a shared vision between stylist and photographer - oh and the client to name only a few...

I love to look back at my happy snaps and the final hero shots - to flash back to all the hard work and consideration to make the shot perfect.

This particular shoot was for the Australian launch of Intersection magazine. We shot overnight in the stunning (!) carpark of the Eureka building in Melbourne. I don't normally do fashion jobs, it's not my forté - however I was incredibly lucky to assist the brilliant fashion stylist Dave Bonney and witness phenomenal photographer Pierre Toussant in action.

Best wedding invite ever

Now I could be accused of being biased seeing as my husband Scott designed it for our great mates...but how is this for a wedding invitation?! A website for guests from all over the world to tap into. The wedding is being held in Mexico, yes Mexico - so it's a very clever and very cute way of putting all the useful information in one place. It's just the bestest way for guests to get excited. Six weeks to go now.... See you soon d&d. x
