Behind the scenes

My next few posts will be a series of behind the scenes from shoots accompanied by beautiful final images. There are so many things that need to come together to create a great image: props, lighting, styling, photography, composition, patience and a shared vision between stylist and photographer - oh and the client to name only a few...

I love to look back at my happy snaps and the final hero shots - to flash back to all the hard work and consideration to make the shot perfect.

This particular shoot was for the Australian launch of Intersection magazine. We shot overnight in the stunning (!) carpark of the Eureka building in Melbourne. I don't normally do fashion jobs, it's not my forté - however I was incredibly lucky to assist the brilliant fashion stylist Dave Bonney and witness phenomenal photographer Pierre Toussant in action.
