Couch
While laughing my way through an episode of Portlandia I spotted this lovely couch, so next thing I knew I was on ebay looking for old couches to spruce up... I'm just dreaming as there's no way I'm buying a new couch with Taco running and a jumping the couch all day.

Anna-Wili Highfield
It's been sometime since I'be blogged about the amazingly talented Sydney artist Anna-Wil Highfiled. It's taken me this long to find the right project and the right client for a commission - and the time has come. I have just placed an order for a magnificent Perched Owl. It's no wonder that Anna-Wili is in high demand - which explains the nearly year long wait for her works! It's like the most perfect layby.

Tech addict - hello Pinterest my new friend
Oh lord, I've just got a new addiction in the form of Pinterest. It is genius, so instead of saving images into files and manually naming them, you just simply 'pin' them onto your board, it automatically records where the image came from, which means you never lose it and you can appropriately credit the creatives responsible for making the image.

Here's some images from this months Valentines inspired window at A Shop Called Moth. I hand-stamped heart shapes and messages using my collection of vintage stamps onto beautiful Reams paper.

Pattern play
This mis-matched crockery set came from this years Maison de Object in Paris. It's a very clever way of gathering a random collection of crockery (could be done on the cheap at the OpShop) then creating a pattern to bring it all back together. Clever, inexpensive and good-looking - what a combo.

I love my job
As any working Mum will tell you, it's a difficult to juggle work and family life, this is why I feel so damn lucky that I LOVE MY JOB, like REALLY, REALLY LOVE IT. Here's a little evidence of why I love what I do. This is a table I designed for a client - this is a work in progress shot from earlier this week.
